About Sections
Sections are used to define the duration of a slide and the chords used in that time. Each section lasts exactly one bar (or measure). They can be seen visually by going in the Timeline view. Even if the chords they represent are not displayed (as in a cover slide for example), they offer a quick way to define how long a slide can stay on screen if the slideshow is “self-playing”. ![]() You can select a section box as well as the elements it contains: chords and patterns. Once selected, you can use handles to slide a section box o a new position in time. ![]() Use the zoom slider on the top of the view to scale the timeline and make the section boxes bigger or smaller. ![]() To create a new section box: use the “Create Section” action button on the Switch Bar or use the menu via Insert ➔ Create Section. The location of the new section is context sensitive:
